Polygon tool

Click points along a roof's outline, then click the first (orange) point again to close the shape. Solar data is fetched automatically once closed.

Rectangle tool

Click and drag to draw a rectangular roof in one motion — useful for simple flat-roofed buildings.

Edit tool

Select a rooftop, then click Edit (or the pencil icon on its card) to drag its white handles and reshape the outline. Click Edit again to finish.

Delete tool

Removes the currently selected rooftop from the map and the list below.

After editing an outline

Reshaping a rooftop changes its area, so its solar estimate is marked out of date — a "Recalculate" button appears on its card so you can refresh the numbers instead of seeing stale figures.

Road Map Satellite

Google Maps failed to load. Check that GOOGLE_MAPS_API_KEY is set in your Laravel .env, with Maps JavaScript, Places, Drawing and Geometry libraries enabled in Google Cloud Console.
